And most people have no idea how to get hired.
This is for you if:

- You're willing to work hard, build something far bigger and get ahead in life.
- Eventually getting rotation and having half the year off and getting paid the same salary every month!
This might not be for you if:

- You need to be home every night
- Being away from home for months at a time
- Don't like to travel
Why I'm giving this away
I'm giving it away because too many chefs waste thousands of dollars and months of their life trying to break into yachting blind. Watch this and you'll know within 20 minutes if this lifestyle is for you, before you spend a cent.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this actually free, or is there a catch?
Yes, it's completely free. No credit card, no hidden fee. I give away Module 1 because I'd rather you find out now whether yachting is right for you than waste money figuring it out the hard way later.
Do I need any yacht experience to understand this?
None at all. This module is built for chefs who've never set foot on a yacht. If you can cook, you already have the hard part covered, this fills in everything else.
Is this just a sales pitch in disguise?
Module 1 stands on its own. Certifications, where to find legitimate jobs, what life onboard is really like. If you decide the full course and coaching aren't for you after watching, that's completely fine. I'd still rather you have the real information than none at all.
What if I'm not sure yachting is even for me?
That's exactly who this module is for. It's designed to help you figure that out before you spend a dollar on courses, flights, or visas you might not need.
What you’ll learn in your free module:
- The certifications you actually need (and where to get them without wasting money)
- How to find legitimate yacht jobs through agencies and groups that hire new chefs
- What life onboard is really like schedule, pay, and day-to-day realities
- The mental game: how to handle long days, tight spaces, and high expectations
- How to tell if this lifestyle is right for you before you spend a cent
Hey I'm Dean, your instructor!
Hey, I’m Dean Harrison, an Australian chef who’s spent the last 14 years cooking for billionaires, celebrities, and crew on some of the world’s most luxurious charter yachts up to 88m.
My journey started in 2004, when I was a rebellious 15-year-old who couldn’t stand school but loved being in the kitchen. My first job was as a dishwasher and prep cook, chopping parsley for hours while the chefs laughed from the back steps. It wasn’t glamorous...but it taught me grit, discipline, and a love for the chaos of the kitchen.
After years of working my way up through fine dining restaurants, resorts, dive boats, chalets and cafes, I discovered yachting and it completely changed my life. Over the last 14 years, I’ve cooked everywhere from the Caribbean to the Mediterranean, Asia, and the South Pacific. I’ve worked in private residences, private islands, and superyachts that travel to places most people will never see.
Yachting gave me freedom — financial, personal, and creative. But it also came with challenges that no one warns you about. That’s why I created this course: to share everything I wish I knew before I started. From getting your first job and managing demanding guests to building a long-term career that funds the life you want, this is the roadmap I wish I had when I began.
Now, my goal is simple, firstly it is to see if you'd be the right fit working on super yachts, and secondly, help you break into this dream lifestyle the smart way, without wasting time or money on the wrong path.Â

I worked with Dean on Arience about 5 years ago now, hands down the best
head chef I ever had. He really taught me so many foundational trick of the
trade, and chef hacks, that now to this day I still use - as a sole chef on
50metres. Definitely grateful to have him as a mentor, he’s one of the goats!

Working under [Dean] not only did I acquire new cooking techniques but
also adapted a new management style as well as essential communication
skills with both guests and crew. His cool demeanour allows for calmness in
the most heated moments and his strong work ethic pairs well with the daily
challenges of running a galley. All in all 10/10!

Dean is an exceptional chef and an
even better leader. Calm under pressure, incredibly knowledgeable, and
always willing to take the time to teach and support his team. I genuinely credit a lot of my development as a yacht chef to his guidance
and mentorship.
